Rare mugham performers

The aim of the project “Rare Mugham Performers” is to highlight, preserve, and pass on to future generations the creative legacy of rare and valuable Azerbaijani mugham singers.
This event is dedicated to the People’s Artist, a profound connoisseur of mugham art, and a beloved khananda, Hacıbaba Hüseynov.

Hacıbaba Hüseynov’s repertoire includes mughams and tasnifs distinguished by their uniqueness and mastery.
The evening will feature his most renowned works: mughams — “Rast”, “Segah”, “Chahargah”, “Bayati-Shiraz”, and tasnifs — “Garabagh Shikestesi”, “Shahnaz”, “Heyrati”, “Kurdi-Shahnaz”.
