Three down-on-their-luck actors — a Romantic Lead, a Comic and a Tragedian — meet by chance in a train compartment. Recalling their former roles, they argue, boast and perform entire scenes for one another, unaware that they are all heading to the same destination. Journey of the Comedians is a warm and witty comedy inspired by Alexander Kuprin’s stories about theatre, an actor’s fate and enduring devotion to the stage.
