“Sazın Səsi, Sözün Nəfəsi” is one of the International Mugham Center’s projects dedicated to the art of Azerbaijani ashugs, which has won great appreciation from audiences. Within the framework of the project, the creative legacy of prominent representatives of Azerbaijani ashug art is explored, presenting the rich traditions of our national musical heritage through the unity of the saz and the word.
This edition of the project is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Ashug Iskandar Aghbabali and the 70th anniversary of Ashug Fakhfur Aghbabali. The evening will feature the artists’ creative legacy, the traditions of ashug art, and distinguished examples from the world of saz and poetry.
