U17 World Wrestling Championships
From 27 July to 2 August 2026, the U17 World Wrestling Championships will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Organized by the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation, this prestigious event will bring together the world's best U17 wrestlers from across the globe. Young athletes taking their first major steps toward Olympic success will compete for the coveted title of U17 World Champion.
The Opening Ceremony will be held on 27 July from 17:15 to 17:45.
Competition Schedule
Morning Session (10:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
Preliminary bouts will be held as athletes compete for places in the semifinal stage.
Evening Session (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
Semifinal matches, medal bouts, and championship finals will determine the winners and medalists.
Between sessions, spectators can enjoy a variety of entertainment and interactive activities in the Fan Zone, located inside the arena.
