Dear Music Lovers,

On September 6, 1941, the first concert of the Azerbaijan State Jazz Orchestra took place at the Baku Philharmonic Hall under the direction of maestro Niyazi and composer Tofig Guliyev.

Eighty-five years later, on the same date and on the very same stage, Arzu Hasanli will present her original compositions in a special Ethno-Jazz concert, joined by renowned musicians performing in this genre.

The anniversary concert will also feature jazz vocalist Sanam Abdolazimzade, originally from Tabriz and now based in Istanbul. She is well known for her memorable performance at the Kharıbülbül Festival and performs works by both Azerbaijani and international composers.

The evening's special guest will be the acclaimed tar virtuoso Shahriyar Imanov.
