YARAT Contemporary Art Space invites you to GARAGE26 Fest, taking place on August 22.
GARAGE26 brings the spirit of the underground street culture of the 1980s and 1990s back to life, creating a unique space where skateboarding, street art, music, and independent creativity come together.
This is more than a nostalgic look at the past. GARAGE26 is a living experience that demonstrates how the creative energy born on the streets remains relevant today, continues to evolve through new forms of expression, and keeps shaping contemporary urban culture.
The festival programme includes a retro and modern gaming zone, an interactive graffiti wall, skateboarding and scooter competitions, and a street dance battle.

GAME Bros. — Retro & Modern Games
Venue: YARAT Centre, YARAT Education (1st Floor)
Explore the world of gaming, from legendary titles of the 1980s and 1990s to next-generation platforms. Relive the nostalgia on retro consoles, test your skills on modern platforms, and share an unforgettable gaming experience with your friends.

TheVara — Interactive Graffiti Wall
Venue: Baku Boulevard — in front of YARAT Centre
Artist: Azydeon
Participants will have the opportunity to express their thoughts, feelings, and creative ideas through graffiti, contributing to a collective artwork. At the end of the activity, Azydeon will bring together these individual marks and transform them into a unified graffiti piece reflecting the spirit of street culture.

Urban Roll — Skateboard & Scooter Competition
Venue: Baku Boulevard — in front of YARAT Centre
Feel the energy of street sports and put your skills to the test. Designed for skateboard and scooter enthusiasts, the competition offers participants a chance to showcase their abilities and take part in one of the most dynamic activities of the festival.
Registration is required to participate in this competition.

Venue: Baku Boulevard — in front of YARAT Centre
Experience the rhythm of street dance and the excitement of live competition. Bringing together talented dancers representing different styles, the "Garage" Dance Battle promises to be one of the most memorable highlights of the festival.
